I'm an astrophotographer based in Southern Connecticut.
My journey into the world of astrophotography began as a young boy growing up in Western Australia. I would stare into the night sky in wonder at constellations I would now recognise as upside down. After relocating with my family to Connecticut, I started attending public telescope viewing nights at the Westport Astronomical Society. One night I held my camera to the eyepiece of the club's huge 25" dobsonian telescope and snapped a very blury photo of the moon. I was hooked on astrophotography from that moment and am no less in awe of the wonders of space now than when I was young.
For me, astrophotography is more than a creative outlet, it's a continuous learning experience that constantly challenges me to see the night sky from different angles. Through my telescope and camera, I strive to share these wonders by capturing the natural beauty of the night sky that is hiding in plain sight. I work to make each of my images, a testament to the wonders found above us.
Thank you for visiting. I will continue to share glimpses into the beauty of the night sky as often as possible.
